SK5--How Reverse Handle
Content:
You product box says the handle can be reversed to face left of right.
But neither the enclosed installation manual nor your online user manual explains how to change the handle direction.
How is the handle changed to face either left or right?
Thank you.

Dear Dennis,

Thanks for email.

First of all, I would like to know where you bought our lock, from our agent or from us. We have checked our history by your email and didn't find any clue. If you are buying from our agent, you can ask them for assistance. The handle of SK5 is reversible but only for the professionals who are familiar with our products so normally we don't suggest consumers do it themselves in case of any unexpected damage happens.

Here we would like you to do us a favor that we have checked our box again and we didn't show any information about that consumers can change the handles on their own, so we would like you to send us a picture of the box to double check the model or any.

Thanks for your time and your kind reply will be appreciated.

Best regards,
SCG service team

Dear SCG service team,

Thank you for your reply, and I apologize for the delay in replying to your question.

I am afraid I misunderstood the labeling on your package. The package had a place to indicate whether the handle of the lock in the box pointed right or left, and I misunderstood this to be a notice that the handle could be switched by the consumer.

I purchased the lock at a fund-raising “silent auction” with no know dealer and thus no option to return to you agent to have a professional switch the handles.

So I tried to do it myself. I discovered the hard way that it was no something an end user should try. Unfortunately I managed to destroy the mechanism so it became unusable.
